Biography


Minda Douglas is an artist and art educator from Noblesville, Indiana. She works in mixed media, printmaking, drawing, painting, artist books, and installation. She is originally from Detroit, Michigan, and attended undergraduate school at Wayne State University in Detroit. She attended graduate school at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has a strong interest in the natural world and environmental issues. She uses natural and man-made forms as symbols, combining them to create layered meanings. She exhibits her work regionally and nationally. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Fine Arts at Indiana University Kokomo.
